Qitmeer Network's block reward system employs a strategy that balances long-term economic viability with user adoption. Unlike the "halving" method seen in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Qitmeer opts for a "smooth decay" approach. Starting with higher initial reward rates, this method aims to distribute the financial burden among more token holders and gradually reduce the growth rate of token supply as adoption increases.
